The Feels Like Spring scarf was so soothing to make. The colours of the yarn, the feel of it and the pretty and easy stitch pattern made this a joy to make. I am so in love with it. Spring has gotten away from me, I know, but this scarf is one you could use on a cooler summer night sitting by the lake, and it adds a splash of colour to your daily wear in the office. Trust me, this piece will not disappoint.

Made with yarn by Borgo de’Pazzi-Florence, this DK Egyptian cotton yarn is so lovely to work with. I am totally falling in love with this brand. I find the yarn is top quality and there seems to be such a wide variety of fibers used as well. And all of them feel and look amazing. The colour choices are beautiful, but not too loud (from what I have seen) and your piece works up easily as the yarn seems to glide along your hook. I feel as though I’m crocheting in times past when I work with this yarn, so there is a element of romance to it (for me) that I find especially soothing. Made in Italy, this yarn connects me back to my Italian roots and the company uses all natural fibers which is really wonderful.

I designed this piece to be elegant but understated and the stitches used are simple so that even an advanced beginner can hook up this piece with no problem. The colours chosen spoke to me, and do compliment each other immensely. It’s the perfect spring piece if you are looking for something a little different and yet on trend. You’ll totally look pretty in crochet with the Feels like Spring scarf!
