Coral has so many shades that it’s a colour we adore, a colour that screams spring, and I was thrilled when I found this lovely Caron Cakes yarn. I’m sharing my Seashell Coral Wrap free pattern with you today of the wrap that I hooked up with this marvelous yarn. It’s soft and warm and just oh so lovely. And have I mentioned the colour was a huge draw? Because it really was. Three of these cakes immediately went into my shopping basket at my local Michaels. I knew right away that I wanted to make a shawl with this lovely yarn.
The Seashell Coral Wrap will be perfect for cooler spring days and brighten up my days after the long winter months. I’ll likely not be getting use out of this gorgeous shawl this year, as it’s nearly summer, but next spring I will have the perfect piece to pull out on those cooler days.
I decided for this pattern I wanted to use something simple and yet pretty, so I went a basic V stitch. It’s open weave, easy to hook up and both warm and airy which is perfect for the time of year I’m thinking of using this shawl. Not familiar with this stitch? I’ve provided an easy link for you 🙂 This stitch is easy and a beginner can master it quickly.
